Mobility changes in open-loop payment systems
XXImo is well-positioned to meet the growing demand for a highly scalable open-loop payments platform for all mobility-related expenses. Payment for mobility services such as public transport, shared mobility, taxis and electric vehicle charging or refueling is on the cusp of transition towards open-loop payment systems. Unlike their closed-loop counterparts, open-loop payment systems do not require additional cards and card holders can easily travel using their contactless cards or smartphones, such as Apple Pay or Google Pay.
