There are now only seven days left in the Wall Street Memes ($WSM) presale, leaving potential investors with a limited amount of time to purchase the token ahead of a potentially explosive IEO.
Wall Street Memes ($WSM), which launched in late May, has now raised over $25 million, becoming one of the biggest and best crypto presales of 2023. WSM tokens are currently available for purchase at a fixed price of $0.0337.
The presale will close on Monday, September 25 at 7pm UTC, with the highly anticipated project expected to be listed on a tier-1 centralized exchange shortly thereafter.
Final Countdown to the Biggest Meme Coin Presale of 2023
With the Wall Street Memes presale set to close in just over a week, investors are rushing to secure the token as hype builds ahead of its listing.
The project has been a huge success due to the underlying fundamentals and its meme coin potential.
Wall Street Memes differentiates itself from many meme coin projects because it was not created solely as a crypto project.
In fact, the project was first launched in 2019 as an offshoot of the hugely popular Wall Street Bets subreddit, which provided funny memes and posts about crypto and the financial markets.
They have since amassed over one million followers combined across various social media platforms.
The founders took their first steps into Web3 in 2021, releasing the Wall Street Bulls NFT collection on Ethereum, which sold out its $3 million collection in just 30 minutes.
They have since released the Bitcoin Ordinals collection and in May, opted to issue WSM tokens for mega promotion from the community.
Elon Musk is a well-known fan, with the multi-billionaire CEO of Tesla and X interacting with his page on several occasions.
There are also rumors that Musk was behind the recent spending spree on Wall Street memes, in which a crypto whale bought 460 ETH WSM tokens in five transactions in just six minutes in August.
The same account had spent an additional 93 ETH on Wall Street Memes tokens just two weeks earlier, bringing the total spent to more than $1 million.
The huge social media following has allowed the project to spread rapidly through the crypto space and raise millions of dollars, now with the home stretch on the site.
In the past week alone, there have been multiple purchases of over 10 ETH (about $16k) as crypto whales look to get into the project before exchange instability occurs.
Wall Street Memes has also received positive reviews from many crypto influencers.
The likes of Joe Parys (380,000 subscribers) and Michael Wrubel (310k) have given WSM positive reviews and have been among the many analysts calling the token with over 10x potential since launch.
Staking Rewards and Strong Tokenomics
While many meme coins offer little in the way of utility, Wall Street memes offer one major one – staking.
Staking not only allows holders to generate rewards by locking their tokens in a pool, but it can greatly influence the price.
As this encourages holding and relieves selling pressure, the price of WSM may well rise.
According to the staking dashboard, approximately 340 million tokens have been added to the staking pool at the time of writing, giving stakers an estimated annual percentage yield of 58%.
Although this figure will drop as more tokens are added to the pool, it is still likely to outperform top staking coins like Ethereum, Cardano, and Solana, which typically offer 5-10% APY.
Staking pools also give Wall Street Memes a longer life cycle than most normal meme coins – which sometimes crash within a week.
The tokens will be unlocked over a five-year time frame, giving the project a fairly long life span. Punters should note that there is a minimum locking period of seven days.
Wall Street memes also have a small supply of meme coins, which can often amount to tens of billions or even trillions.
There are only 2 billion WSM tokens, 50% of which are allocated for the presale. An additional 20% has been reserved for exchange liquidity, while the remaining 30% is allocated for community rewards.
This includes not only staking pools but also other airdrops, including the ongoing $50,000 airdrop.
Although the presale is scheduled to close on Monday, September 25 at 7pm UTC, details and dates on the claim and IEO have not been revealed yet.
