Rapper Jay-Z’s iconic “Off-White 1993 Lexus GS 300” displayed at Brooklyn Library


Rapper Jay-Z’s iconic “Off White Lexus GS 300” is on display in The Book of HOV, a new exhibit at the Brooklyn Public Library.

HOV’s book is a tribute to Jay-Z’s global impact as a musician, entrepreneur, philanthropist and subversive.

Jay-Z’s “Off White Lexus GS 300” exhibit has attracted more than 255,000 visitors since it opened on July 14.

Jay-Z’s 1993 Lexus will be on display for the remainder of The Book of HOV exhibit, running through December.

Roc Nation, an entertainment company founded and chaired by Shawn Carter (Jay-Z), and Lexus featured the rapper’s off-white 1993 Lexus GS 300 in The Book of HOV, a book at the Brooklyn Public Library’s central location. There is a new exhibition.

Displayed along the Central Library on Eastern Parkway, the Lexus is the first artwork to be added to The Book of HOV – a tribute to JAY-Z’s global impact as a musician, entrepreneur, philanthropist and disruptor.

The iconic off-white Lexus GS 300 was first featured in JAY-Z’s iconic “Dead Presidents” visual in the nineties, and then featured in the lyrics to “Can I Live” and the #1 hit, “Empire State of Mind” I went.

“We are excited to partner with Lexus to bring JAY-Z’s iconic ‘Off-White Lexus’ to The Book of HOV. Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez says, “The new installation adds another element of JAY-Z’s career to the exhibit that visitors can enjoy.”

“The Book of HOV has received an overwhelming response, so we are excited to extend the exhibition through December to ensure new and returning participants have ample opportunities to be fully immersed in the experience.”

The exhibit featuring Jay-Z’s off-white Lexus has attracted more than 255,000 visitors since it opened on July 14, close to four times as many as the same time in 2022. Jay-Z’s 1993 Lexus GS 300 will be on display. The remainder of The Book of HOV exhibition, which runs until December.
