DURANT, Okla. (KXII) -So far, the Durant Animal Shelter has raised nearly $7,000 to renovate its facility.
The city is raising money to make improvements such as adding restrooms for the employees, a washer and dryer, and an outdoor exercise yard.
They believe these improvements will require $25,000.
The fundraiser ends February 9 to donate, you can mail or bring a check to city hall and make it out to the City of Durant with ‘animal shelter’ in the memo.
