Paying close to the asking price, Ryan Seacrest makes a purchase of the Ellen DeGeneres mansion for a whopping $49 million. The “American Idol” emcee is reportedly worth $125 million and captures close to $45 million in a year and maybe more.  Seacrest will be the proud owner of a 9, 200 square foot mansion that houses three guest houses and several cement ponds, sitting on 2.87 acres.  It almost covers an entire block, which is huge for the Beverly Hills area.

The multi-million dollar deal is currently in escrow and is expected to close some time this week. The same realtor reeled in the dual agency commission on the deal for an estimated three million dollar pay check. The property was also owned previously by Max Mitchnick, co-creator of the TV series “Will and Grace.” Ellen bought the place for 29 million, but also purchased adjacent properties to go with it.

Seacrest has recently hooked major deals rendering himself a healthy paycheck with multi-million dollar deals with NBC Universal and “American Idol,” plus an additional deal with Clear Channel lurking on the horizon. Ryan appears to be looking to advance his career as well.

This week’s episode of “Girls” was heavy.  Hannah got a text message from Adam of his penis.  In her horror she shows the picture to Marnie and Charlie when another text message comes through.  Charlie reads it and it’s from Adam saying “SRY, that was meant for someone else”.  After reading this to Hannah she wants to respond but Marnie advises her against it.

Marnie and Charlie go to bed and instead of Hannah listening to Marnie she sends Adam a picture of her naked.

The next day at work Hannah’s new extremely nice boss comes up behind her and starts massaging her shoulders and touching her breasts.  She is extremely disturbed but doesn’t say anything about it.
Shosh and Jessa are on the way to class and nannying when Shoshannah runs into an old friend from camp.  The two seem interested in one another and begin talking when sparks fly.  Jessa senses the tension and abruptly leaves like she so often does.

On this week’s episode of “South Park” the boys are on a TV show entitled:  I Should Have Never Gone Ziplining, which is a spoof of I Shouldn’t Be Alive.

It was the last day of spring break.  Kyle, Cartman, Kenny and Stan decide that they want to do something exciting with their time.  They somehow come up with the idea of ziplining, they think that it will be exciting and “totally badass”, what they don’t know is that it is about to turn into disaster.

After being arriving at the zipline location and getting strapped in and ready to go they realize that they are not simply ziplining by themselves but that they actually have to go with a tour group.  The children struggle to force smiles at stories they don’t want to listen to, it is horrible.  They have to watch safety videos and deal with tourists.  Finally they think that the horrors are over when they realize that they have to take a 45 minute shuttle up to the zipline zone.  The shuttle ends up actually take about an hour longer than anticipated and the whole time the boys are forced to listen to elongated stories that include the term “to make a long story short” every five words.  

The episode starts out with Jess worrying about being at Russell’s house way too much and the imbalance between her and his time spent at one another’s house.  She feels like she is always spending time at Russell’s place while he never spends time at hers.  On another note, Jess encounters another problem which makes her want/need to go home.  She has finally run out of underwear while at her long stay at Russell’s place and needs to go back home to get clean undies.  In the meantime she decides to just wear Russell’s underpants.

Before Jess heads back to the apartment she thinks that perhaps her housemates have missed her due to her long absence.  In reality, though, they have kept themselves quite preoccupied.  Cece was still being continuously hit on by Schmidt with attempt after attempt of debauchery.

The guys have also invented a new game which they have dubbed “True American.”  Hailed as the best drinking game in the world, True American is a true conglomeration of everything that would make a great drinking game. Just a few of the elements include swearing at one another constantly, make-believing they had a molten lava floor, lies, and of course shot-gunning beer after beer and the classic childhood game Candy Land!   Extremely preoccupied, the fellas seem to go on for hours with their drinking game shenanigans

When Lohan got her release from supervised probation, she made it very clear that she was ready for a fresh new start and the quick return to acting. She also made it clear that she was going to try for the role of Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime’s made-for-TV movie, “Liz and Dick”. It looks like she got her wish, because the child star has been chosen for the role.

Lifetime is known for its targeting towards female audiences. Since Elizabeth Taylor was a role model for hundreds of women of that era, this movie will, again, speak to the hearts and minds of females.

As for her heart and mind where Taylor is concerned, Lohan stated that she has always had enormous respect for Elizabeth Taylor. She went on to say she felt that Taylor was not only an incredible actress, but an amazing woman. Lohan said she is very honored to have been accepted to play the role of one of her idols. The movie will show the life and love affair of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, as stormy and legendary as it was.

There have been rumors of Lohan’s suggested involvement in the making of the movie since January of 2012. The movie, itself, has been in discussion and development with the network since May of 2011. It was written by Christopher Monger, who has won the Emmy for his work on “Temple Grandin”.

Wednesday night saw a burst of excitement and energy from fans and the Idol crew. It seemed like everyone was in good spirits and it showed.

The fans screamed for the judges when they came out. Steven Tyler was receptive and responded with hand gestures that reminded everyone of his rock star status. And, since he is a rock star, the crowd returned the gesture enthusiastically.

Hollie Cavanagh was first up. The camera saw her say a hello to Nigel Lythgoe, the executive producer for “American Idol”, before taking the stage to perform
“River Deep- Mountain High”.

Jimmy Iovine and Little Steven were keeping up with each other, trading remarks and keeping everyone else entertained. They even took a couple of shots at Aerosmith, which garnered some head shaking from Tyler.

Lindsey is a well-rounded multi-tasker from Reno, Nevada.  She lives with her Mother and little sister but their house is so small that Lindsey and her sister must share a bed.  She also looks up to her older sisters Lacey and Dallas who do not currently live with them.

Lindsey has been with her boyfriend, Forest, for three years.  The two make a cute couple and had a relatively smooth relationship until Lindsey revealed the news that she was pregnant and intends to keep the baby which would make Lindsey and Forest parents at the ripe age of 16.

This week’s episode of “Dance Moms Miami” is just as crazy as last week’s episode.  While the original Dance Moms was extremely entertaining this new and improved season is just that.  The poor dance teachers seem so much more normal while the Moms appear to be getting crazier and crazier.

The show came on and the dancing rank goes up!  Lucas and his Mother were thrilled this week when the adorable little Justin Beiber Situation dance protégée got placed at the top of the list.  Most likely this was because he did not drop Kimmy in their dance solo from last week.  Kimmy was also praised with a second place spot, even though her Mother thought that she and Lucas should have tied.

Instead of putting out the sometimes expensive weekly rate charged by doggie daycares, some owners opted to let their dogs stay home and watch TV. There are some owners that did this before. However, this practice can have more significance now, since dogs have their own channel.

Doggie TV has been hailed as a success by dog owners and critics, alike. This specialty channel offers such amenities as muted colors, altered sounds and a blend of music that was especially written for dogs.

Owners simply have to access this content through their On Demand services, and leave the house. Then, for the next eight hours, their four legged children have the option of snoozing or watching programming that was especially made for them.

A sworn enemy of the U.S. is in town for an annual conference as men assigned to protect General Benicio Florez, a South American dictator, show up in Olivia Pope’s office. Someone kidnapped his wife and children. Olivia is the only person who can help him. However, she is not herself right now after she found out Amanda Tanner is pregnant with the president’s baby.

While the general’s son was a witness to the kidnapping, the team believes he is not being honest about the chain of events. Huck tracks them down at a woman’s shelter. His wife wasn’t kidnapped, she ran to escape from the general. Abby does not want to return her to the general because she is scared, so she checks her and the kids into a hotel and keeps the news from Olivia.
